Swatches

Image
Introduction     For my inspiration I took a flag I liked that my roommate has hanging on his door. I like this flag because it is from a good movie and I really like the colors that are in it. Inspiration Photo Swatches Nameplates Conclusion     I thought this was pretty interesting to mess with different colors and font types to create a sort of base template to use for our brochure project.

Meme

Orignial Photos I grew up watching cartoons, and plenty of memes have come out of cartoons. So I thought of SpongeBob first with the disoriented memes. I love the caveman meme because people use is as a way to show being lost or confused.   Meme PNG Final Meme This is my draft for my final meme post, I thought it would funny as a Com major since I always go to this building. The com building is the "main" building on campus as it is Nido's building. I made it simple in case I wanted to change the picture later, and can add more detail.

Adjustment Layers

Adjustment Layers     I think that what I learned from adjustment layers is that you have to really pay attention to the detail that you want to produce. If you are using a mask, that requires you to paint black or white on a select region you want to change. If you go just slightly off on painting or move the histogram a little too much in one direction, all of those changes can look completely different.

Theme The theme that I chose to do was a toy car. Most kids used to have them and they just sit around and collect dust. However real cars people love to take pictures of so I thought, what if I used a toy car instead of a real one.  Picture one I think that this picture uses negative space to make you focus on the car. The contrast that the red makes with the white to make the car pop. Photo Two I used depth in this photo, as you can see that the car is out of focus from being farther away compared to the carpet closer to the camera. Photo Three In this photo I use the Rule of Thirds to have the car be mostly in the middle, while also hitting the other two sections equally. Final Photos These are the final photos that I think are going to be on my photo cards. However, I am still open to using  other pictures I have of the car.
